Chris Dabagian Ely Dennis Celine Ennis Tony Morella
Chris Dabagian, with a rich and varied background in photography, painting, fashion and interior design, is a multi-faceted artist, whose wide frame of reference and artistic fluency is reflected in her beautifully stylized photographs. Subtle and mysterious, with wonderfully articulated detail and contrast, these photographs invite the viewer to draw closer. Chris studied art at the Talli Rosner Photography Studio, and the Art School of Northern New Jersey. A member of the American Society of Interior Designers, she studied Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and Interior Design at Parsons School of Design in NYC. And before she embarked on her arts career, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology at American University. With clients in New York City, Los Angeles and Paris, Chris has exhibited in New York, California and throughout New Jersey and Connecticut.
Ely Dennis believes the most interesting visual phenomena occurs when you least expect it. He has created images that are just that. Simplicity in black and white images and the softness and subltlety of neutral colors. Exploring the neighborhoods he lives in or traveling to places to capture the images that are sometimes current events and at times people and places you see just walking down the street. Ely's photography is strongly influenced by his upbringing in New York, and becoming a self taught award winning fine art photographer exhibiting in galleries in the New York metropolitan area. Ely is an artist member of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, contributor to the Edward Hopper House in Nyack, NY, and award winning artist at the Northern New Jersey Art Center.
Celine Ennis, Painting is my personal journey. The brush to panel or canvas conveys my state of mind and thoughts. This process of discovery and introspection leaves me open to experiment and allows the voice of the painting to form. My pieces unfold intuitively and the unplanned process of color selection, mark making and brush stroke make this an experiential journey. The tools, powders, pigments and papers lining my workspace all contribute to my artistic vision and journey. I am interested in the layers that form a painting. I enjoy building up the surface and then extracting areas to reveal hidden geographies of the painting. My hope is that the viewer can interpret the painting from their own viewpoint and form a feeling of their own. I have exhibited locally and nationally and am in private collections. I also curate monthly exhibits in my local library.
Tony Morella has an addiction to photography which started for him at age 16. It has stayed with him for over 46 years at this writing. It's taken him down many paths including an art degree with a concentration in fine art photography where he became a master photo printer. After decades of traveling the world for global imaging companies such as Agfa-Gevaert, Epson, Kodak and International Paper, he has became an organizer of art shows, a collector of rare antique images and a speaker on the art of bringing printed images to fruition in the digital age. Presently he is the owner and operator of a digital fine art printing company, Digital Editions Atelier, where he prints his own as well as other artists' work. The body of work he has created and shown over the decades encompasses a desire to capture icons of the past with an atmosphere befitting their venerable condition and sometimes with an embellishment of fantasy.
